Cleanroom Technology Magazine: Major Overhaul Of Cleanroom Floor At Pharmaceutical Facility

MARCH 11, 2026 — Kemtile, a division of Stonhard, was highlighted on Cleanroom Technology.com, Cleanroom Technology magazine's online site, for completing a major cleanroom flooring refurbishment at Piramal Healthcare's pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in England.

The project involved replacing nearly 7,000 sq. ft. of aging cleanroom flooring with a durable, hygienic Stonhard flooring system designed to withstand the demanding conditions of pharmaceutical production.

This pharmaceutical cleanroom floor features Stonclad GS with a textured Stonkote HT4 topcoat, delivering long-term durability, slip resistance, and seamless hygienic performance.

Completed over 28 consecutive days of shifts, the installation included Stonclad GS flooring, Stonkote HT4 textured coatings for enhanced slip resistance, Polysto hygienic coving, and a new channel drain.
